Project title: THE PURPLEHEART LOVERS.

The Girls Opera, an all-female theatre, is located in the Capital City of Hou-Saki, the Kingdom of the Plains. Women in Hou-Saki are by law required to marry by their 25th birthday at the latest, or strict penalties will be enforced. Actresses are thusly forced to stop performing on stage when they reach that age, where they can't advance further and most often will find it necessary to retire, even if they don't wish to. Ha-Narira has been the first female role actress of the company for four years now, opposite two different male role actresses who have served as her partners, a hitherto unheard of career development for a female role actress. She has a large following and is very popular. However, once she turns 24, the opera director introduces her to Yu-Himi, 19 years old and straight out of the theatre academy's graduation class, who has been chosen as her substitute when she retires in a year's time and instructs that Narira provide her with training in the repertory of the Opera, so she's ready to take over after Narira's official retirement ceremonies. During this process of mentoring and teaching, the two girls grow very close and fall in love with each other, but how will they maintain their relationship once Narira has left the Opera?
